WPC28, Dominican Republic
From debates over how history and race are taught to ongoing conversations about corporate responsibility, representation, equity, and inclusion, the issues may change, but the need for ongoing education and courageous dialogue remains. The White Privilege Conference (WPC) creates space to examine these challenges, confront difficult questions, learn from one another, and turn awareness into meaningful action. #RealTalk #RealSolutions
WPC28's theme addresses how we fight against white supremacy and all forms of oppression as global ideology, while holding onto a positive, consistent work-life balance. Workshops, institutes, and keynotes unpack the difficult concepts of privilege and oppression around race, gender, sexuality, class, disability, etc. We'll dive deep and also provide tips and techniques for self care. We must sustain ourselves while doing the hard work.
#WPC28 is not about comfortable conversations. It’s about showing up, leaning into the hard truths, challenging power, privilege, supremacy ideology, and oppression. Participants leave better equipped to turn awareness into ACTION while practicing self care.
